SLB (NYSE:SLB) announced that it has been awarded four integrated well construction contracts by Saudi Aramco to support oil and gas development projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The contracts cover the delivery of more than 450 wells during an initial three-year term, with options for extensions of up to two additional years.
Under the agreements, SLB will manage end-to-end well construction services, combining planning, drilling, evaluation, fluids, cementing, and completion activities through an integrated operating model.
SLB said its technology-enabled approach uses digital drilling workflows and automation tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and well performance across large-scale drilling programs.
The contracts expand the use of SLB’s integrated well construction model in Saudi Arabia and build on decades of collaboration between SLB and Aramco.
Steve Gassen, SLB executive vice president of Geographies, said the scale of the program demonstrates confidence in the company’s integrated delivery approach for complex drilling operations.
The awards reflect increasing adoption of integrated well construction models as energy companies seek more coordinated and technology-driven approaches to managing drilling programs.
