Silicom secures tier-1 cybersecurity deal to launch white-label switch line
Silicom (NASDAQ:SILC) secured a design win with an unnamed Tier-1 global cybersecurity firm, establishing a new white-label switch product line aimed at displacing incumbent networking vendors.
The Kfar Sava, Israel-based connectivity provider announced Tuesday that the customer selected a customized portfolio of Silicom-engineered open switches to serve as the infrastructure backbone for its next-generation security platforms.
The deal marks Silicom's formal entry into the competitive white-label switching market, expanding an enterprise portfolio that historically focused on server adapters, field-programmable gate array (FPGA) smart cards, and edge systems.
Financial terms of the agreement state that full production ramp-up is projected to yield steady annual revenues of approximately $5 million for Silicom.
Initial product samples have already been validated and delivered to the client, with the first wave of commercial production orders scheduled for fulfillment during 2026.
The corporate client selected Silicom's open architecture following a rigorous multi-tier evaluation process designed to eliminate vendor lock-in.
The company's hardware will replace legacy, proprietary switching infrastructure previously supplied by an unnamed incumbent industry leader.
