
Sensient Technologies (NYSE:SXT) reported second-quarter revenue of $462.1 million, up 11.6%, as all three operating groups recorded growth.
Operating income rose 32.9% to $76.7 million, while diluted EPS increased 36.4% to $1.20 from $0.88.
Color Group revenue increased 20.6% to $216.1 million, while Flavors & Extracts revenue rose 4.9% to $213.2 million.
Following the announcement, Sensient's share price was up approximately 4% at $117.03 in premarket trading.
Sensient raised GAAP EPS guidance to $4.10–$4.20 and forecast mid-to-high-teen adjusted EBITDA growth in local currencies.
First-quarter revenue rose 11.1% to $435.8 million, while the board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.41 per share in July.
