SEALSQ (NASDAQ:LAES), a developer of specialized semiconductors and post-quantum technology, announced preliminary financial results for the first quarter of 2026 on April 8, featuring a triple-digit revenue surge and a substantial expansion of its cash reserves.

The company reported first-quarter revenue of approximately $4.1 million, a significant increase compared to the $1.3 million recorded in the first quarter of 2025.

Following the strong start to the year, SEALSQ reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance, projecting year-over-year growth of between 50% and 100%.

The growth is supported by an active sales pipeline that currently exceeds $200 million.

Management highlighted that approximately $60 million of this pipeline is directly tied to the QS7001 secure element and QVault technology, which are designed to protect Internet of Things (IoT) devices and data centers against future quantum computing threats.

Financially, SEALSQ enters the second quarter with a robust liquidity position.

Cash and short-term investments now exceed $525 million, a figure bolstered by a recently completed $125 million registered direct offering.

This capital is earmarked for the acceleration of the company’s R&D roadmap and the scaling of its semiconductor production capabilities in response to increasing global demand for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions.

The company also reported critical progress in its certification roadmap.

The QS7001 platform is advancing through the final stages of EAL5+ and FIPS 140-3 validations, which are essential for securing contracts within the government, defense, and high-security enterprise sectors.

Beyond hardware, SEALSQ is expanding its "Security-as-a-Service" offerings, integrating managed Root of Trust and digital identity provisioning to create recurring revenue streams.
