
Salesforce awarded $1.6 billion VA software agreement
- The VA awarded Salesforce an agreement with a $1.6 billion ceiling covering up to three years.

Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) was awarded, through its distribution network, a VA software agreement with a $1.6 billion three-year ceiling.
The award expands a relationship lasting over a decade, with Salesforce tools already operating across more than 150 VA facilities.
“The goal is simple: reduce administrative burden and help employees get to the right information faster,” said Salesforce Missionforce and Government Cloud CEO Kendall Collins.
The agreement starts as a one-year contract, includes two optional annual renewals and has a total ceiling of $1.6 billion.
Salesforce said Missionforce will support scheduling and round-the-clock care.
Following the announcement, Salesforce shares were down 3.7% at $156.93.
VA serves over 17 million Veterans through 170 medical centres and more than 1,100 outpatient clinics, recording 82 million appointments in 2025.
Salesforce also powers VA Health Connect, SQUARES and the Veterans Crisis Line, while Slack supports teams across more than 150 sites.
