  • Rubrik plans to invest more than $500 million over the next five years in the United Kingdom.
  • The cybersecurity firm will establish its permanent European headquarters in London.
  • The expansion aligns with a sovereign cloud push and real-time security guardrails for AI agents.

U.S. data resilience and cybersecurity provider Rubrik (NYSE:RBRK) announced on Thursday that it will invest more than $500 million over the next five years within the United Kingdom to anchor its regional growth pipeline.

The major capital deployment will support the formal establishment of the company's new European headquarters in London, solidifying Britain's position as one of Rubrik's fastest-growing global operational hubs.

"The UK is one of the world's leading technology markets, and has become increasingly important to Rubrik's long-term growth," said Rubrik CEO and co-founder Bipul Sinha. "This investment strengthens our UK ecosystem, helping EMEA customers address the critical need for European data sovereignty, quickly recover from cyberattacks, and safely scale AI."

The multi-year regional expansion coincides with a strategic cloud architecture push.

Rubrik revealed that its Rubrik Security Cloud platform will be integrated onto the AWS European Sovereign Cloud to supply public sector groups and highly regulated private entities with cloud-native, isolated cyber resilience.

Following the announcement, Rubrik's share price traded steady around $84.07.

Founded 12 years ago to ensure business continuity during active ransomware attacks, the enterprise successfully listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2024 and currently maintains a market valuation of approximately $17.4 billion.

The group is aggressively expanding its core capabilities into AI resilience following the rollout of its "Rubrik Agent Cloud" framework.

The system, which recently added integration support for Anthropic's Claude Code and Claude Cowork, provides real-time security guardrails and an "agent rewind" undo feature to observe and reverse unintended autonomous actions.
