
RPM International (NYSE:RPM) revealed on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of Kalzip, a move designed to significantly enhance the building envelope capabilities of its Tremco Construction Products Group (Tremco CPG).
Headquartered in Koblenz, Germany, Kalzip is a globally recognized authority in the design and production of high-performance metal-based roofs and facades.
Kalzip specializes in customized, lightweight, and weather-resistant aluminum solutions, having delivered more than 1.2 billion square feet of building envelope technologies across the globe.
The company’s portfolio includes some of the world's most recognizable infrastructure and sporting landmarks, such as the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, the LAX Train Station in Los Angeles, and the Pickering GO Pedestrian Bridge in Canada.
Financially, Kalzip generated approximately €75 million in net sales during the 2024 calendar year.
While the specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed, RPM indicated that the acquisition aligns with its strategy of adding high-margin, market-leading brands to its construction segments.
