Rein Therapeutics (NASDAQ:RNTX) said its Phase 2 RENEW trial of inhaled LTI-03 has surpassed 25% of planned enrollment of approximately 120 patients.

The IPF study is enrolling across the U.S., U.K., Australia, Germany and Poland, with Rein saying enrollment is ahead of schedule and interim data remains planned for the second half of 2026.

Rein reported $43.6 million in cash and investments, while Q2 R&D expense fell to $3.6 million and net loss narrowed to $6.4 million.

Following the announcement, Rein Therapeutics' share price was unchanged at about $0.79 in premarket trading.

Meanwhile, Rein completed a $57.5 million underwritten offering in May, which the company expects will fully finance RENEW and support operations into the first quarter of 2028.

A first-in-human LTI-03 study published in Nature Communications on July 31 reported reductions in several markers associated with lung scarring and inflammation.
