RedHill acquires Rebyota and Clenpiq rights

RedHill Biopharma (NASDAQ:RDHL) acquired exclusive global commercialization rights to Rebyota and exclusive U.S. rights to Clenpiq from Ferring Pharmaceuticals in a transaction focused on expanding its gastrointestinal business.

The company said the products generated approximately $37.5 million in U.S. net sales in 2025, including $16.9 million from Rebyota and $20.6 million from Clenpiq.

Under the agreement, RedHill will pay Ferring a $12 million upfront fee funded through proceeds from its $18 million Talicia divestiture, along with potential milestone payments and tiered royalties.

Ferring will continue manufacturing Rebyota and supplying the product during the agreement term.

RedHill Biopharma develops and commercializes pharmaceutical products focused on gastrointestinal and infectious disease markets.

Rebyota received FDA approval in 2022 and Health Canada approval in 2025, while Clenpiq is a ready-to-drink low-volume bowel preparation product with U.S. payer coverage.
