RadNet (NASDAQ:RDNT), a national leader in outpatient diagnostic imaging, announced on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, that it has acquired Radiology Regional from LucidHealth.

The strategic acquisition adds 13 multi-modality imaging centers to RadNet's network, establishing a dominant presence in the rapidly growing Southwest Florida corridor, including Naples, Fort Myers, and Sarasota.

The deal is a significant scale-up for RadNet's Florida operations, bringing in approximately 400 employees and 44 contracted radiologists.

Radiology Regional, one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic providers in the Southeast, is projected to contribute roughly $100 million in incremental revenue to RadNet in fiscal 2026.

The centers offer a full suite of services, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, and advanced women’s imaging.

Beyond physical expansion, RadNet intends to leverage the acquisition as a launchpad for its DeepHealth AI division.

The company plans to deploy its full portfolio of AI-powered informatics and clinical screening tools across the new sites to improve cancer detection accuracy and operational throughput.

This "test-and-scale" approach follows RadNet's recent successful integration of other AI assets like iCAD and See-Mode, aimed at reducing scan times and managing the industry-wide shortage of radiologic technologists.
