- Quantum Space is currently proceeding with a $1.2 billion merger with Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. VI (NASDAQ:IPFX) to list on the Nasdaq.
Quantum Space announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the Department of War’s Operational Energy Capability Improvement Fund to demonstrate an orbital fuel depot.
The company plans to build this fuel depot on its Ranger platform, which is designed to provide maneuverable, long-term logistics support for the U.S. Space Force.
This new award complements the company’s existing involvement in the U.S. Space Force’s Andromeda program, which focuses on developing a constellation of maneuverable spacecraft.
The company is currently executing a definitive business combination agreement with Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. VI (NASDAQ:IPFX) to become a publicly traded company.
Quantum Space operates as a space defense and orbital mobility firm focused on developing maneuverable satellites for national security, civil, and commercial missions.
The company maintains a growing portfolio of government work and expects its merger with Inflection Point to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
