
PulteGroup earns $2.48 per share in Q2

PulteGroup (NYSE:PHM) reported second-quarter net income of $472 million, or $2.48 per share, on $3.8 billion in home sale revenue.
Net income declined from $608 million and EPS fell from $3.03 a year earlier, although earnings exceeded the $2.36 analyst consensus.
The company closed 6,997 homes, while net new orders rose 6% to 7,536 homes with a total value of $4.1 billion.
Home sale gross margin was 25%, while backlog increased 2% to 10,966 homes valued at $6.8 billion and share repurchases totaled $373 million.
Following the announcement, PulteGroup's share price was up 0.9% at $124.26 in premarket trading.
PulteGroup operates in more than 45 US markets through brands including Pulte Homes, Centex, Del Webb, DiVosta and John Wieland Homes.
In Q1 2026, PulteGroup closed 6,102 homes, recorded 8,034 net new orders and repurchased $308 million of shares.
