Powerfleet revenue increases 6.4% to $110.8 million

Powerfleet (NASDAQ:AIOT) unveiled Q1 fiscal 2027 revenue of $110.8 million, up 6.4% year over year, as services revenue increased to $94.3 million and represented 85% of total revenue.

Revenue growth compared with the prior-year period was supported by recurring services activity, while gross margin expanded to 55.2% and adjusted EBITDA increased to $21.5 million.

The company reported a GAAP net loss attributable to common stockholders of $8.4 million, or $(0.06) per share, while operating cash flow increased to $8.4 million and free cash flow improved to a net use of $0.5 million.

Powerfleet said the South African National Treasury contract is expected to contribute more than $27 million in annual recurring revenue for near-term activation, with more than 70,000 vehicles planned for immediate deployment.

The company ended the quarter with total liquidity of $62.7 million and adjusted net debt-to-trailing 12-month adjusted EBITDA of 2.5x.

Looking ahead, Powerfleet updated fiscal 2027 guidance to revenue of $468 million–$473 million, adjusted EBITDA of $111 million–$114 million, free cash flow of $20 million–$23 million and a net loss of $6 million–$8 million.
