PowerCompute Q2 revenue rises 9.8% to $2.12m

PowerCompute (NASDAQ:PWCM) reported second-quarter revenue of $2.12 million, up 9.8% year over year, as Bitcoin production increased to 27.9 BTC.

Revenue was broadly unchanged from Q1, while mining margin fell to 29.0% from 41.0% a year earlier amid lower Bitcoin prices.

PowerCompute reported a $4.6 million net loss, $2.8 million Core EBITDA loss, $0.9 million of cash and 318.6 BTC worth $18.6 million at quarter-end.

Following the announcement, PowerCompute's share price was down about 0.3% at $1.52 in premarket trading.

PowerCompute rebranded from LM Funding in July and began a Vast.ai GPU proof-of-concept using its 26 MW of owned power infrastructure.

After quarter-end, PowerCompute refinanced approximately $18.1 million through a 30-day rolling Arch Lending facility secured by 307 BTC at an initial 2% annual rate.
