  • Polestar delivered an estimated record 30,423 vehicles globally during the first half of 2026.
  • Second-quarter retail sales reached an estimated 17,296 cars despite shifting market headwinds.
  • The electric performance brand expanded its international physical retail network by 39 percent.

Polestar Holding (NASDAQ:PSNY) achieved a new operational high note today, reporting an estimated record 30,423 retail vehicle deliveries over the first six months of 2026.

The premium Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer navigated a complex regulatory backdrop to log 17,296 vehicle sales during the second quarter alone, driven by steady consumer adoption across core European and Asian luxury automotive hubs.

"Delivering record sales in the first half of the year, despite regulatory and market headwinds, is a significant achievement," stated Polestar Chief Executive Officer Michael Lohscheller. "We continue to make progress across the business, delivering strong growth in several key markets, especially in the UK, Germany, South Korea and the Iberia region."

To feed its growing distribution pipeline, the brand aggressively expanded its global retail presence.

The manufacturer's commercial footprint grew 39% year-over-year, climbing to an active base of 235 operational spaces and service centers.

The premium brand is preparing to transition into an intensive multi-vehicle deployment cycle over the back half of the year.

Initial customer handovers for the highly anticipated Polestar 5 luxury grand tourer are scheduled to begin shortly, while full-scale production has officially commenced for the newly added Polestar 4 SUV, with regional deliveries targeted for the fourth quarter.
