PodcastOne lifts annual outlook on plans to license AI data

PodcastOne (NASDAQ:PODC) raised its financial projections for the full fiscal year 2026, driven by an optimized capital structure and preliminary steps to monetize its historical media library through artificial intelligence data-licensing agreements.

The Los Angeles-based digital audio and video network now forecasts full-year revenue to fall between $68 million and $75 million.

Over the same fiscal period, adjusted EBITDA is anticipated to range from $7 million to $10 million.

The upward revision reflects accelerated monetization across its standard network programming channels alongside emerging alternative business streams.

The company significantly altered its balance sheet dynamics by converting a $7 million warrant exercise directly into cash.

Management deployed these newly acquired liquid reserves to fully repay all outstanding junior debt obligations.

Following the debt elimination, PodcastOne reported reaching the largest net cash position in its corporate history, providing a debt-free operational runway for programmatic expansion and intellectual property acquisition.

A central pillar of the company's long-term strategy involves leveraging its media backlog for computational technology applications.

PodcastOne is actively preparing to license more than 250,000 hours of its proprietary video content to external developers specializing in artificial intelligence models and large language platforms.

As technology enterprises face increasing regulatory and copyright scrutiny over web-scraped content sourcing, structured pools of proprietary human conversation have become high-demand assets for training generative systems, opening a secondary, high-margin commercial framework for entertainment catalogs.
