  • Perspective Therapeutics and Merck (NYSE:MRK) agreed to evaluate PSV359 with Keytruda in patients with FAP-α-positive solid tumors.
  • The combination will be added to Perspective’s ongoing Phase 1/2a study involving certain non-small cell lung and colorectal cancers.
  • Perspective will sponsor the trial, while Merck will provide Keytruda at no cost for the combination study.

Perspective Therapeutics entered a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Merck (NYSE:MRK) to evaluate targeted alpha therapy PSV359 in combination with Keytruda in FAP-α-positive solid tumors.

The combination will be evaluated through an amendment to Perspective’s ongoing Phase 1/2a multicenter, open-label, dose-finding and dose-expansion study, identified as NCT06710756.

The study targets patients with certain non-small cell lung and colorectal cancers expressing FAP-α and has already completed enrollment in its first three PSV359 monotherapy dose cohorts.

Under the collaboration, Perspective will remain the trial sponsor while Merck will supply its anti-PD-1 therapy Keytruda, or pembrolizumab, at no cost for use in the study.

PSV359 is designed to deliver the alpha-emitting isotope lead-212, or 212Pb, directly to tumors expressing FAP-α as part of Perspective’s targeted radiopharmaceutical approach.

Perspective also uses related PSV377 imaging agents incorporating 203Pb or 68Ga to evaluate FAP-α expression and help identify patients for treatment.

The collaboration expands the ongoing study from PSV359 monotherapy into combination testing with immunotherapy, as Perspective evaluates the candidate across selected FAP-α-positive lung and colorectal cancers.
