Permian Basin Royalty Trust (NYSE:PBT) declared an August 2026 cash distribution of $871,663.17, or $0.018701 per unit, based on production from its underlying royalty properties.
The distribution is payable on September 15, 2026, to unitholders of record as of August 31, 2026, and excludes proceeds from the Waddell Ranch properties.
The Texas Royalty Properties generated July revenues of $1.54 million and net profit of $1.40 million, contributing $1.33 million toward the August distribution, while Waddell Ranch costs exceeded gross proceeds.
General and administrative expenses net of interest totaled $453,792, including a $250,000 increase to the expense reserve, affecting the distribution calculation.
The trust said the lower distribution compared with July was mainly due to a prior one-time $1.13 million settlement payment from Blackbeard Operating and lower Texas Royalty natural gas volumes and oil pricing.
Permian Basin Royalty Trust continues distributing proceeds generated from its royalty interests in oil and natural gas properties.
