Parsons lands $73M Air Force contract to expand digital mission support
Parsons (NYSE:PSN) has secured an additional $73 million contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory to continue supporting its Global Application Research, Development, Engineering and Maintenance (GARDEM) mission.
The agreement represents the fourth task order under the GARDEM program awarded to Parsons in 2026, lifting its aggregate value under the vehicle to $218 million for the year.
The rapid succession of awards highlights the company's expanding footprint as a key developer of digital and data-centric capabilities for the U.S. Air Force.
Under the terms of the latest contract, the Chantilly, Virginia-based firm will take on expanded research and development alongside operations and maintenance responsibilities.
The scope of work applies directly across the GARDEM 2 enterprise platform and its corresponding mission application software baselines, providing direct platform and mission application support for field sites and existing installations.
A central objective of the contract involves leading the migration of existing software capabilities to Parsons’ proprietary Lightweight Application Management Platform, known as LAMP.
The software system provides a lean, scalable computing environment engineered to accelerate global mission deployment while driving down long-term lifecycle and operational infrastructure costs.
