Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR) today announced a five-year renewal and expansion of its strategic partnership with Stellantis (NYSE:STLA).

The agreement extends a collaboration that first began in 2016, aimed at accelerating the industrialization of data and artificial intelligence throughout the global automaker’s diverse brand portfolio and manufacturing footprint.

The new phase of the partnership centers on the deployment of the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP).

While Stellantis has long utilized Palantir Foundry to create a unified data ontology, the integration of AIP will allow teams to apply generative AI to internal datasets and business rules.

This move is designed to transition Stellantis from traditional data monitoring to high-velocity, automated decision-making in complex areas such as quality control, parts logistics, and regional sales forecasting.

A key component of the deal is its contribution to Stellantis’ "Data4All" ambition.

By leveraging the combined power of Foundry and AIP, the company aims to democratize data access across its workforce, allowing non-technical teams to explore fragmented datasets in a secure, governed environment.

The platform’s ability to provide end-to-end traceability is expected to be critical as Stellantis scales its AI use cases across North America, Europe, and other key markets.

The renewal comes at a time when Stellantis is navigating a broader business reset to align with shifting customer preferences and regulatory frameworks.
