Oshkosh Defense secures $142M in orders for FMTV A2 tactical vehicles
Oshkosh Defense, a business unit of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK), has been awarded new orders valued at $142 million for its Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) A2 platform.
These multi-award contracts reflect ongoing demand from both U.S. and international defense customers for modernized, highly mobile tactical assets.
The new orders encompass several configurations of the FMTV A2, including 4x4 Cargo, 6x6 Cargo, and Long Wheel Base variants.
These vehicles are engineered to provide versatile transport capabilities across a wide spectrum of operational environments, a critical factor as global defense forces increasingly prioritize adaptable mobility solutions.
Oshkosh Defense noted that interest in the A2 platform has been rising in the international market, driven by the platform's ability to integrate into existing fleets while meeting region-specific mission profiles.
The company’s ability to deliver these systems, supported by its established global support network, remains a core component of its strategy to sustain long-term engagement with international partners.
These latest awards underscore the continued importance of the FMTV platform in modern military logistics.
