  • NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) introduced DSX POD, a modular reference design that enables partners to manufacture, integrate and validate AI factories before delivering them to customer sites.
  • NVIDIA says installation at a prepared site could take as little as 14 days, compared with approximately six months under conventional deployment approaches.

NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) introduced DSX POD, a modular reference design intended to accelerate AI factory deployment by integrating and testing computing infrastructure before delivery.

The design combines NVIDIA Vera Rubin computing systems with supporting infrastructure, allowing partners to assemble and validate modular facilities in manufacturing environments.

NVIDIA says the approach could reduce deployment at a prepared customer site from approximately six months to as little as 14 days.

DSX POD units would arrive with computing and supporting systems integrated, requiring connections to power, cooling, networking and other necessary site infrastructure.

NVIDIA is collaborating with Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo, Schneider Electric and Vertiv to support production and deployment of the modular systems.

Partner-built DSX POD AI factories are targeted for worldwide delivery beginning in early 2027, although deployment schedules will depend on site readiness and infrastructure availability.

The initiative builds on NVIDIA's Vera Rubin DSX architecture, which coordinates computing, networking, storage and facility systems to accelerate large-scale AI infrastructure development.
