Maverick Power provides engineered power distribution solutions for data centers in North America and is expected to generate about $700 million in revenue during 2026, supported by a strong backlog.
The agreement includes potential additional cash consideration of up to $550 million based on performance metrics in 2027 and 2028, while the transaction carries an implied enterprise value multiple of about 11.5 times anticipated 2026 adjusted EBITDA.
nVent stated that the acquisition is expected to be accretive to adjusted EPS in the first year after closing.
The company plans to fund the transaction using cash on hand and new debt, with closing targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026 pending regulatory and other customary approvals.
nVent provides electrical connection and protection solutions, while Maverick Power focuses on engineered power distribution systems used in data center infrastructure.
