Noodles & Company (NASDAQ:NDLS) reported second-quarter revenue of $127 million, up 0.5%, as system-wide comparable sales increased 10.3%.
The net loss narrowed to $4 million from $17.6 million, while diluted loss per share improved to $0.67 from $3.04.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 79% to $10.8 million, while the company ended June with $1.3 million in cash and $105.4 million in debt.
Noodles now forecasts full year revenue of $485–$500 million.
Meanwhile, the company operated 318 company-owned and 78 franchised restaurants, down from 364 and 89 respectively one year earlier.
Its ongoing strategic review includes possible debt refinancing, refranchising or a sale of all or part of the business.
