The company delivered 35,486 vehicles in March 2026, representing a massive 136% increase year-over-year.
The explosive March performance propelled NIO to a record first quarter, with 83,465 deliveries in Q1 2026, a 98.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
This surge in volume allowed NIO to cross a historic operational threshold, with cumulative deliveries reaching 1,081,057 as of March 31, 2026.
A primary driver of this growth has been the exceptional market reception of the All-New ES8.
On March 20, 2026, the flagship model reached its 80,000th delivery in just 181 days—one of the fastest ramps for a premium large SUV in the industry’s history.
The ES8 has now ranked as the No. 1 selling model in China’s large SUV segment for three consecutive months, outperforming both domestic rivals and established international luxury brands.
Management attributed the strong quarterly results to the continued expansion of the NIO Power network and the increasing consumer preference for its unique "Battery-as-a-Service" (BaaS) and rapid battery-swapping technology.
