
Newmark buys L+P, adding over 40 specialists
- Newmark acquired German property valuation firm L+P Immobilienbewertungs, adding more than 40 professionals to its European business.
- The purchase price was not disclosed, and no post-announcement U.S. share-price reaction was available before premarket trading began.
- The deal is Newmark’s fourth Valuation & Advisory acquisition of 2026 and expands its coverage of European institutional clients.
Newmark (NASDAQ:NMRK) acquired L+P Immobilienbewertungs, adding more than 40 German valuation professionals, although the transaction’s financial terms were not disclosed.
L+P has operated for more than 25 years and provides commercial, residential and specialist property valuations to institutional clients across Europe.
L+P will join Newmark’s Valuation & Advisory business within Investor Solutions, combining local market knowledge with Newmark’s international platform and technology capabilities.
Following the announcement, Newmark's share price was not yet available in U.S. premarket trading, after closing down 1.3% at $15.58 on August 5.
The transaction follows Newmark’s additions of Catella Valuation Advisory in France, Altus Group Canadian Appraisals and German valuation technology company einwert.
Newmark generated more than $3.6 billion in revenue during the year ended June 30 and operated through over 195 offices with more than 10,000 professionals.
