Newell Brands (NASDAQ:NWL) reported second-quarter 2026 net sales of $2 billion, up 3% year over year, as core sales increased 2.3% and profitability improved.
Net income rose to $106 million from $46 million a year earlier, while normalized net income increased to $180 million from $101 million.
The company reported gross margin of 40.7%, up from 35.4%, while operating margin improved to 14.2% from 8.8%, partly reflecting tariff recoveries related to previously recorded IEEPA tariff expenses.
Newell Brands raised its full-year 2026 outlook across key metrics and entered into a new $800 million asset-based revolving credit facility.
Normalized EBITDA increased to $406 million from $280 million in the prior-year period, while normalized diluted EPS rose to $0.42 from $0.24.
The company produces consumer products across categories including home solutions, commercial products, writing tools and outdoor equipment, with brands sold through retail and commercial channels globally.
