Neumora Q2 net loss narrows to $43.1m

Neumora Therapeutics (NASDAQ:NMRA) reported a Q2 2026 net loss of $43.1 million, narrowing from $52.7 million a year earlier.

R&D expense declined to $29.3 million from $38.7 million, while G&A spending fell to $12.9 million from $15.3 million.

Neumora held $116.8 million in cash at June 30 and expects that balance to support its current operating plan into Q3 2027.

Following the announcement, Neumora Therapeutics' share price was up about 1.2% at $1.73 in the latest available premarket quote.

Neumora appointed Joshua Pinto as president and CEO, moved co-founder Paul Berns to Executive Chair and named Doron Sagman chief medical officer.

The company expects NMRA-215 to enter Phase 1 by year-end, NMRA-511 Phase 2 to begin by year-end and NMRA-898 Phase 1 data in the second half.
