Neonode (NASDAQ:NEON) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue from continuing operations of $0.5 million, down 20.4% year-over-year, with license revenue increasing to $0.4 million.

The decline compared with Q2 2025 was mainly linked to lower non-recurring engineering revenue, which fell 81.5% to $36,000 during the quarter.

Neonode reported operating expenses of $2.8 million, up 3.2% year-over-year, resulting in a loss from continuing operations of $2.1 million, or $0.13 per share, compared with a $2.0 million loss a year earlier.

The company used $1.9 million in cash from operations during Q2 2026 and ended the quarter with $21.7 million in cash and accounts receivable, compared with $25.8 million at year-end 2025.

For the first six months of 2026, Neonode reported revenue of $1.1 million, down 1.9% year-over-year, operating expenses of $5.5 million, and a loss from continuing operations of $4 million.

Neonode develops optical sensing and touch technology solutions, including infrared-based sensing systems used in interactive displays, automotive applications and other markets.
