NeOnc reports early improvement in 1 pediatric patient
- NeOnc Technologies reported early clinical improvements in a three-year-old boy receiving investigational NEO100 treatment for an aggressive brain tumor in Abu Dhabi.
- Treating physicians observed that the child was breathing without ventilator support and beginning to move his legs, although the observations do not establish that NEO100 caused the improvements.
- NeOnc is developing NEO100 through several clinical programs, following investigational drug authorization in Abu Dhabi in June 2026.
NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ:NTHI) reported early clinical improvements in one three-year-old brain tumor patient receiving investigational intranasal NEO100 through its Compassionate Care program in Abu Dhabi.
According to treating physicians, the critically ill child began breathing without mechanical ventilation and showed early leg movement after treatment started, although the observations do not establish treatment effectiveness.
The child was treated outside NeOnc's NEO100-03 pediatric trial because he did not meet its eligibility requirements, with care coordinated alongside local physicians and Abu Dhabi health authorities.
The reported observations involve one patient, with no controlled comparison or confirmed evidence that NEO100 caused the improvements, while the company has not provided sufficient follow-up data to establish durability.
NeOnc continues investigating NEO100 for brain tumors through authorized clinical programs, although commercial approval remains outstanding.
In June 2026, Abu Dhabi authorities granted investigational authorization covering three NEO100 protocols, including adult Phase 1 through Phase 2 studies and a pediatric Phase 1/1b pathway requiring further protocol review.
NeOnc also develops NEO212 for central nervous system cancers and reported Phase 2a NEO100 results in August 2026, following earlier clinical development and regulatory submissions.
