Namib Minerals (NASDAQ:NAMM) completed dewatering at its Redwing Mine in Zimbabwe, achieving the first step in its five-step mine restart pathway ahead of its original fourth-quarter 2026 target.

The completion of dewatering allows safe underground access for mapping, sampling, and geotechnical and hydrological studies that will support the company’s Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS).

The DFS technical program is fully funded and remains on track for completion in early Q1 2027, while Step 2 of the restart plan is now underway.

The later restart stages include an 8,750-meter surface drilling campaign, construction activities and mine restart plans extending through Q4 2027 and beyond.

Namib Minerals said future steps remain subject to additional funding requirements and a positive development decision following completion of technical assessments.
