Molecular Partners reports pipeline progress in radiopharmaceutical programs
- Molecular Partners (NASDAQ:MOLN) reported dosing in a Phase 1/2a trial of MP0712 targeting DLL3 in small cell lung and neuroendocrine cancers.
- Initial clinical data is expected in the coming months, with broader efficacy results projected for 2027.
- The company expanded its radio-DARPin program with additional candidates and upcoming IND filings through 2027.
Molecular Partners (NASDAQ:MOLN) said its Phase 1/2a U.S. study of MP0712 is actively dosing patients in a trial targeting DLL3-positive small cell lung cancer and neuroendocrine tumors.
MP0712 is a 212Pb-based Radio-DARPin therapeutic, and the company expects initial clinical data in the coming months, with a broader efficacy readout expected in 2027.
The company also said compassionate use treatment has begun in South Africa using MP0714, a DLL3-targeted candidate based on 225Ac and 177Lu radioisotopes.
Molecular Partners said MP0726, a mesothelin-targeted candidate, is planned for first-in-human imaging studies in the second half of 2026.
The company also plans to submit two IND applications in 2027 and nominate a new Radio-DARPin target in the second half of 2026.
The Radio-DARPin platform is designed to deliver targeted alpha radiation directly to cancer cells while limiting exposure to healthy tissue.
