The investigator-initiated study evaluates the FAP-localized CD40 agonist in combination with durvalumab and chemotherapy for first-line biliary tract carcinoma.

The trial protocol utilizes a 2:1 randomization to compare 50 experimental patients receiving MP0317 against 25 control patients receiving standard-of-care.

The company previously published results from a 46-patient Phase 1 study in Nature Cancer in 2026, which demonstrated successful tumor-localized CD40 activation.

Management stated that a formal data update for the TACTIC trial is expected in 2027 as patient treatment continues.

Molecular Partners aims to finalize the clinical study by 2028, pending the successful recruitment of the total patient cohort.
