
Miami International Holdings options ADV rises 22% YTD

Miami International Holdings (NYSE:MIAX) released its September 2026 trading volume metrics, highlighting sustained year-to-date expansion across its options execution venues.
Through the end of September, the MIAX Exchange Group options ADV reached 10.983 million contracts, driving its total options market share to a record 17.1%.
September options ADV was 10.712 million contracts, down 0.7% year over year and 7.2% from August.
Market share fell to 16.7% from 17.6% and 18.4%, respectively.
On the equities side, MIAX Pearl equities ADV dropped 49.7% year-over-year to 103 million shares, securing a 0.6% market share.
Miami International Holdings owns and operates financial market infrastructure, including options, equities, and futures exchanges.
In commodities and derivatives, agricultural futures ADV rose 34.5% year-over-year to 8,036 contracts, while financial futures ADV climbed 43% sequentially from August to 2,226 contracts.
