Marsh McLennan Agency, a subsidiary of Marsh (NYSE:MRSH), announced on April 7, 2026, the acquisition of Seitz Insurance Agency, a prominent independent firm based in Sidney, Montana, specializing in high-growth regional sectors.
While the specific financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the move significantly strengthens MMA’s capabilities in the agriculture, crop, and energy industries—sectors that form the backbone of the Eastern Montana economy.
The acquisition includes all Seitz Insurance staff and its existing office locations, ensuring continuity for its established client base.
Founded in 1961, Seitz Insurance has built a decades-long reputation for providing comprehensive commercial and personal line solutions.
The firm previously expanded its own reach in 2023 by acquiring Polson-based Bishop Insurance Services, a move that deepened its penetration into the Flathead and Mission Valley markets.
Under the new agreement, agency principals and co-owners David Seitz and Camila Skinner will join MMA while continuing to lead their regional operations.
