Magnachip names Chae Lee CEO from July 1

Magnachip Semiconductor (NYSE:MX) appointed Chae Lee as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2026, marking a leadership change after nearly 11 months under interim CEO Camillo Martino.

Lee succeeds Martino, who has served as interim CEO since August 2025 and will continue as Chairman of the Board.

“Chae has a strong background ideally suited to guide Magnachip through its next phase of growth,” said Magnachip Chairman of the Board Camillo Martino.

Lee has more than 30 years of semiconductor experience, including roles across power semiconductors, PMICs, sensors, audio amplifiers, sales, marketing, operations and executive leadership.

Magnachip said Lee is expected to join its Board after his appointment becomes effective.

Lee most recently served as CEO of Tagore Technology, a company focused on Gallium Nitride semiconductor solutions for RF and power applications.

Magnachip said Lee’s experience aligns with its strategy to strengthen its product portfolio, speed up innovation and expand in power semiconductor markets.
