  • Madison Dearborn Partners agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of The Marygold Companies for $2 per share in an all-cash transaction.
  • The offer represents a 100% premium to Marygold’s closing share price on September 24, 2026, according to the company.
  • Following completion, Marygold plans to become a privately held company and refocus its strategy around USCF’s commodity ETF business.

Madison Dearborn Partners agreed to acquire The Marygold Companies (NYSE:MGLD) in an all-cash transaction that values each outstanding share at $2.00 and will take the financial services company private.

The purchase price represents a 100% premium to Marygold’s closing share price on September 24, 2026, with the transaction expected to move the company’s stock from the New York Stock Exchange after completion.

Under the agreement, Madison Dearborn Partners will provide capital and strategic support as Marygold focuses on its USCF business, which manages commodity-focused exchange-traded funds with approximately $6 billion in assets under management.

Marygold operates as a holding company with businesses across financial services, food manufacturing, printing, and beauty products, while USCF represents its commodity ETF operations.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027 or earlier, subject to shareholder approval, regulatory approvals, and other customary closing conditions, after which Marygold will become a privately held company.
