
Lowe’s Q2 sales rockets to $26 billion

Lowe’s (NYSE:LOW) reported second-quarter 2026 sales of $26 billion, up from $24 billion, while net earnings held at $2.4 billion.
Comparable sales rose 0.2%, as stronger Pro and home services demand and 15.7% online growth offset softer DIY spending.
Adjusted diluted EPS increased 1.6% to $4.40, while diluted EPS remained $4.27, with both measures including a $0.11 benefit from IEEPA tariff refunds.
Lowe’s excluded $96 million in pre-tax expenses tied to the Foundation Building Materials and Artisan Design Group acquisitions from adjusted results, while operating margin was 13.67%.
Lowe’s now expects fiscal 2026 sales of $92 billion, flat comparable sales and adjusted diluted EPS of about $12.25.
Lowe’s operated 1,761 stores as of July 31 and has expanded its Pro-focused strategy through the $8.8 billion Foundation Building Materials deal and $1.325 billion Artisan Design Group acquisition.
The company also raised its quarterly dividend 4% to $1.25 in May and paid $673 million in dividends during the second quarter.
