Local Bounti (NYSE:LOCL), a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA), announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025.
For the full year 2025, Local Bounti reported total sales of $48.4 million, representing a 27% increase compared to 2024.
Fourth-quarter momentum remained strong, with sales rising 24% year-over-year to $12.5 million.
The top-line growth was accompanied by a marked improvement in profitability metrics; gross profit rose to $5.9 million for the year, while the adjusted gross margin reached 29%.
The company’s bottom line showed signs of stabilization, though it remains in a heavy investment phase.
The net loss for 2025 narrowed to $94.4 million, and the adjusted EBITDA loss improved to $28.3 million.
Local Bounti concluded the fiscal year with $10.7 million in cash, which was subsequently bolstered by a $15 million strategic investment secured in March 2026 to support continued facility ramp-ups.
Meanwhile, technological innovation and market reach served as key operational pillars throughout the year.
Local Bounti received a U.S. patent for its proprietary AI-driven growing optimization technology, which enhances yield and resource efficiency across its facilities.
Furthermore, the company successfully expanded its retail distribution network to approximately 13,000 "doors" across the United States, positioning its brand for increased consumer visibility heading into 2026.
