Lindblad Expeditions Holdings (NASDAQ:LIND) acquired a 60% stake in White Desert and Echo Charlie for approximately $61 million, adding an Antarctic luxury travel operator and aviation-focused travel brand to its portfolio.
The companies will continue operating as standalone businesses, while the acquisition expands Lindblad’s offerings beyond its existing expedition travel operations.
Lindblad said Patrick Woodhead will remain Chairman of White Desert, become CEO of Echo Charlie, and join Lindblad as Strategic Innovation Advisor following the transaction, while the company raised its 2026 guidance.
Lindblad increased its full-year 2026 guidance for tour revenues to $850 million–$880 million, Net Yield per Available Guest Night to 5.5%–6.5%, and adjusted EBITDA to $140 million–$148 million.
Lindblad Expeditions operates expedition cruises and adventure travel experiences focused on destinations including polar regions, oceans, and remote ecosystems.
The company has expanded its travel portfolio through acquisitions and partnerships designed to add new destinations and customer offerings.
