Li Auto deliveries touch 33,350 in May as new flagship L9 ramps up
Li Auto (NASDAQ:LI) announced Monday that it delivered 33,350 vehicles in May 2026, securing steady volume as the premium automaker kickstarts a fresh product refresh cycle across its smart electric vehicle lineup.
The monthly performance pushes the company’s cumulative lifetime deliveries to 1,702,792 vehicles as of May 31, 2026.
Volume during the month was anchored by the sustained performance of the company’s pure electric lineup alongside immediate traction for its latest flagship offering.
The Li i6 premium crossover maintained its position as a primary volume driver, with monthly deliveries consistently exceeding the 20,000-unit threshold since March.
Meanwhile, Li Auto officially commenced customer deliveries of its highly anticipated all-new Li L9 SUV in May, which secured more than 10,000 orders within its first two weeks on the market.
The company is positioning itself for a further sequential volume lift heading into the summer.
Management confirmed plans to host a dedicated corporate technology event in June to showcase proprietary advancements in full-stack intelligent systems, which will serve as a prelude to the late-June commercial launch of the all-new Li L8 five-seat flagship SUV.
To support the accelerating vehicle rollout and protect its market share in China’s competitive premium segment, Li Auto continued the aggressive expansion of its retail and energy networks.
As of May 31, 2026, the company’s physical footprint comprised 498 operational retail stores spanning 160 cities, complemented by 543 servicing centers and authorized body shops across 222 cities.
