Li Auto launches all-new L9 flagship SUV with embodied AI integration
Li Auto (NASDAQ:LI) officially launched the all-new generation of its flagship luxury crossover SUV, the Li L9, positioning the model as a core technological anchor to capture premium market share in the increasingly competitive electric vehicle space.
The Beijing-based automaker announced that the vehicle is designed to pioneer what it describes as "embodied AI in mobility," moving beyond standard software iterations to blend deep machine intelligence with vehicle handling and automated driver interface systems.
Customer deliveries for the newly designed full-size SUV are scheduled to commence on May 17, 2026.
Li Auto is deploying a dual-configuration approach for the updated flagship series, introducing the model in two distinct trim levels: Ultra and Livis.
The baseline Ultra edition enters the market with a starting price of RMB 459,800.
The higher-end Livis trim, which incorporates advanced computing architecture and specialized chassis configurations, is priced at RMB 509,800.
The strategic rollout represents a key operational milestone for the manufacturer as it faces mounting high-end product competition within China's domestic utility segment.
