
Lear sales advance 3% to $6.2 billion in latest quarter

Lear (NYSE:LEA) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $6.2 billion, up 3% year over year, while global vehicle production remained roughly flat on a Lear sales-weighted basis.
Net income increased to $193 million, adjusted net income reached $217 million and core operating earnings rose to $313 million, representing a 5.0% margin.
Lear reported diluted EPS of $3.79 and adjusted EPS of $4.28, with earnings growth supported by operating performance and share repurchases, while operating cash flow increased 55% to $461 million.
The company raised the midpoint of its 2026 guidance and narrowed its outlook range for net sales of $23.54 billion to $24.01 billion and free cash flow of $590 million to $690 million.
Meanwhile, Lear repurchased $100 million of stock during the quarter, paid $39 million in dividends and ended the period with $1 billion in cash and $3 billion in total liquidity.
