Labcorp (NYSE:LH) announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, posting a 5.8% revenue increase to $3.73 billion driven by strong diagnostic testing volume.
The quarterly adjusted earnings per share reached $4.99, which exceeded the consensus analyst expectation of $4.78 for the period.
The company recorded a 5.5% revenue increase in its Diagnostics Laboratories segment to $2.90 billion and a 6.5% rise in Biopharma Laboratory Services to $836.2 million.
Following the announcement, Labcorp's share price was down at $299.58.
Management stated that the company expects full-year 2026 adjusted earnings to range between $18.10 and $18.55 per share, representing an increase from its previous guidance.
The organization further supported its capital return strategy during the quarter by announcing a $1 billion increase to its existing share repurchase authorization.
