Kosmos Energy (NYSE:KOS) reported strong operational progress in the first half of 2026, driven by higher production from its Jubilee field in Ghana and steady LNG performance in Mauritania and Senegal.

The company said Jubilee well J76 came online in mid-June, adding approximately 20,000 barrels of oil per day, while second-quarter production averaged about 72,000 barrels per day and exited the quarter above 85,000 barrels per day.

In its LNG segment, the GTA LNG project delivered nine cargoes in the second quarter, reaching the top end of its guidance range.

Net debt declined by more than $400 million since the end of 2025 to approximately $2.56 billion.

The company said liquidity remained above $500 million and it is targeting a roughly 20% year-on-year reduction in net debt by the end of 2026.

Kosmos continues to focus on oil production growth in Ghana and LNG monetization in West Africa.
