KKR (NYSE:KKR) agreed to acquire the Japanese beauty and lifestyle brand platform Ci FLAVORS from its existing corporate shareholders.

This transaction follows a 2022 investment by L Catterton that expanded the beauty platform across the Japanese retail market.

The firm will acquire the company from L Catterton, eBeauty Group, and Yanagi Capital Partners for an undisclosed financial amount.

Following the announcement, KKR's share price was down at $107.32.

Ci FLAVORS operates a portfolio of haircare and skincare brands such as &honey through multiple online retail channels.

The firm executed this transaction as part of its Asia Pacific strategy to expand its global consumer business investments.
