KBR (NYSE:KBR) has been awarded two firm-fixed-price task orders totaling $103 million to support the United States Space Force, further cementing the engineering and technology firm's role in defense data strategy.
The orders, issued under the Decision Support for Headquarters USSF Analysis contract on February 9, 2026, call for KBR to execute a range of analytical and technical services over a three-year performance period based in Chantilly, Virginia.
Under the terms of the agreement, KBR will deploy data analysis and AI-enabled analytics to assist the Space Force and the Department of the Air Force in critical strategic decision-making processes.
The scope of work includes the development of personnel-readiness tools and billet validation mechanisms, leveraging established military systems such as STARS, MilPDS, and MyVector.
These initiatives are designed to enhance capability development and ensure precise workforce alignment within the newest branch of the armed forces.
The award underscores the Pentagon's increasing reliance on private sector expertise to modernize its digital infrastructure and improve operational efficiency through artificial intelligence.
