J.Jill raises outlook after Q2 sales growth

J.Jill (NYSE:JILL) reported second quarter fiscal 2026 net sales of $154.8 million, up 0.5% year over year, and raised its fiscal 2026 outlook.

The company reported comparable sales growth of 0.5%, while direct-to-consumer sales increased 1.9% and represented 47.1% of total net sales during the quarter.

Gross profit increased to $119 million from $105.4 million a year earlier, while gross margin rose to 76.8% from 68.4%, including a $13.3 million pre-tax net benefit from IEEPA tariff refunds.

J.Jill reported operating income of $24.3 million compared with $16.8 million in the prior-year period, while net income increased to $16.8 million from $10.5 million and diluted EPS rose to $1.11 from $0.69.

J.Jill operates a women’s apparel retail business through stores and digital channels, with 255 stores at the end of fiscal Q2 2026 compared with 247 stores a year earlier.
