Jade Biosciences reports JADE301 preclinical data
- Jade Biosciences (NASDAQ:JBIO) reported preclinical results for JADE301, an antibody being developed for dermatomyositis.
- JADE301 showed approximately 2.5-fold higher binding affinity and approximately 8-fold greater signaling suppression potency than a dazukibart comparator in laboratory testing.
- Jade plans to begin a Phase 1 trial in 24 healthy volunteers in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Jade Biosciences (NASDAQ:JBIO) reported preclinical results for JADE301, an investigational antibody targeting dermatomyositis, at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Vienna.
The company stated that JADE301 selectively bound interferon beta with approximately 2.5-fold higher affinity than a dazukibart comparator and showed approximately 8-fold greater suppression of a disease-related signaling marker in human skin cells.
In non-human primates, JADE301 demonstrated a half-life of approximately 25 days after subcutaneous dosing and approximately 30 days after intravenous dosing, while modeling predicted human subcutaneous bioavailability of approximately 73%–75%.
Jade reported that JADE301 was well tolerated across evaluated subcutaneous doses in non-human primates, with no treatment-related tissue findings observed during the studies.
The company stated that it expects to begin a Phase 1 trial in 24 healthy volunteers during the fourth quarter of 2026, with interim data expected in the second half of 2027.
