AI cloud provider IREN acquires lead marketing partner Awaken

IREN (NASDAQ:IREN) has announced the acquisition of Awaken, a specialized creative and media agency focused on content strategy and corporate brand development.

Following the completion of the transaction, Awaken will cease independent operations, and its specialized team will transition into IREN's corporate structure under executive employment agreements.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Awaken previously served as the primary external marketing partner for IREN, supporting the development and commercial rollout of the company's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Under the new alignment, Awaken’s senior leadership team—including Founder and Chief Executive Officer Chris Parker—will join the Nasdaq-listed firm directly.

Parker will assume the role of leading IREN's global brand and marketing operations, managing multi-region growth strategies across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The transition aims to strengthen enterprise brand equity as IREN scales its footprint of grid-connected data centers and high-performance GPU clusters.
